I think it’s time to tell you about my scar!
When I was 14, I was diagnosed with Scoliosis. I had to wear a brace for two years to prevent further curvature.
Even though I was DEDICATED to that brace, and even wore it embarrassingly during sleepovers! My curve slowly got worse, and I had to have spinal fusion surgery at 20.
Honestly, the surgery was one of the hardest and best things I’ve done 🥰
I’ll never forget learning to walk again after growing 2 inches.
I love my scar. Even though it has faded quite a bit, it’ll never go away, and I’m grateful.
It reminds me of how strong, beautiful, and badass our bodies are 🥰
