I always introduce myself in a way that feels most comfortable to me. However, recently I remembered the meaning of my full name and wanted to share it with you🤍
‘Margarita’
🐚In Latin it came from the Greek word ‘margaritari’, meaning ‘pearl’.
Actually, I love my full name, but the name 'Margo' is closer to me.
The only variation of the name that I cannot accept for myself is 'Rita' and other possible derivatives from it. On others, it can be a beautiful name, it’s okay. But for myself – please, no.
Acceptable name versions for me:
🌸Margó (or Margot)
🌸Márgo, with the stress on the first syllable
🌸Margoša (and other possible derivatives from it, in russian it sounds cute)
