Just experienced 'The Boy and the Heron'!
First off, it was my first time in a Thai cinema. Japanese audio and English subtitles. Not my native language, but I got almost everything!
Psychedelic visuals, intriguing plot, amazing music, and the emotional impact was instant – moments of chills and teary eyes… Some plot points remained mysterious, yet they beautifully came together over time.
It's an unusual feeling, like a painting you need to stare at for a long time from a distance… and only after some time you can fully understand the beauty of what you’ve seen.
Highly recommend it!
